Though being an animal lover and advocate since she was little, Jill grew up primarily with dogs. After graduating from Lakehead with her honours in Biology, Jill bought her first home and got more involved in rescue. Her first foster failure was a Feline Leukaemia positive cat named Gemma. Jill has also fostered for other local cat and dog rescues as well as helping to rehabilitate robins and crows. When Jill isn’t working or busy coordinating volunteers for all of Caring Hearts’ events, she’s hanging out with her boyfriend, three dogs, two cats and two budgies… and whatever fosters she may have at that time!
